1981 NAIA College World Series
The 1981 NAIA College World Series was held in Lubbock, TX for the first time. The ten team field was composed of eight teams that qualified for the tournament by winning their District and Area Tournaments, plus the highest ranked school that finished second in an area tournament, plus the host school, Lubbock Christian College. Grand Canyon College repeated as champions by defeating Winthrop College in the championship game.
