2001 Division II College World Series

The 2001 Division II College World Series was held at Paterson Field in Montgomery, AL. The eight schools qualified by winning one of eight regional tournaments. The tournament was won by St. Mary's University, coached by Charlie Migl. The runner-up was the University of Central Missouri. St. Mary’s first baseman Jesse Gutierrez was named the series Most Outstanding Player.
