The 2015 Central League League Rookie of the Year Award went to Yokohama BayStars closer Yasuaki Yamasaki, who went 2-4 with 37 saves and a 1.98 ERA. He got 241 of 270 votes.
The other vote-getters were Shunta Wakamatsu of the Chunichi Dragons (20) and Hayato Takagi of the Yomiuri Giants (9).
