2018 Central League Most Valuable Player Award
The 2018 Central League Most Valuable Player Award went to Hiroshima Carp outfielder Yoshihiro Maru, who defended his title; the last player to have done so in the CL was Alex Ramirez in 2008-2009. Maru had led the league with 39 homers and 130 walks.
