ABC, the American Broadcasting Corporation, is one of the traditional big three television networks, alongside CBS and NBC. ABC was the first station to broadcast the Little League World Series. From 1976-1988, the station alternated broadcasts of the World Series with NBC. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, it also carried a weekly nationally-televized Monday Night Baseball game as a spring and summer counterpart to its extremely popular Monday Night Football telecasts.
Baseball broadcasters most associated with ABC include Al Michaels, Keith Jackson and Howard Cosell.
