Biographical Information[edit]
Andy Beene made six appearances with the Milwaukee Brewers in the 1980s. He is the nephew of Fred Beene. Rick Waits, Rick Manning, and Jim Kern all played with both men. Andy was an assistant coach at Texas Tech University in 1987 and later served as a Toronto Blue Jays scout, signing Kevin Ahrens, Zach Jackson, Robert Ray, Ryan Roberts and Curtis Thigpen.
