The Astronautos de Los Santos, based in Las Tablas, the capital of Los Santos Province, were slated to begin play in the Panamanian League in 2020-2021, having previously been known as the Astronautas de Chiriquí, but that season was cancelled by the COVID-19 pandemic. They won the league championship in 2022, earning the right to represent Panama in the 2022 Caribbean Series.
