Biographical Information[edit]
Bennie Tate managed in the St. Louis Browns' minor league system for two years, one year (1938) in Mayfield, KY and one year (1941) in Meridian, MS.
Later in life, he served a term as the County Treasurer in Franklin County, Illinois.
Notable Achievement[edit]
- Won a World Series with the Washington Senators in 1924
