Biographical Information[edit]
C.B. Burns is a member of the 1.000 club. He hit a single in his only at bat with the 1902 Baltimore Orioles, never appearing in the field. He was, of course, the only player on the O's to hit 1.000. The top regular was Jimmy Williams, who hit .313 with 21 triples and 8 home runs. Born in Maryland, C.B. died when he was nearly 90, also in Maryland.
