Charlie Barber played in the Union Association for the 1884 Cincinnati Outlaw Reds, a team which won nearly 2/3 of its games. Charlie was the regular third baseman, although he was the weakest hitter among the regulars. At age 30, he was closest to the oldest man on the team.
