Biographical Information[edit]
Clair Rierson was head coach at Iowa State University from 1975 to 1980. He replaced Cap Timm and was replaced by Larry Corrigan. He later scouted for the Minnesota Twins (1989-1998) and Los Angeles Dodgers (2004-?). He signed, among others, Bobby Blevins, Jharel Cotton, Scott Erickson, Steve Johnson, Ryan Mills, Justin Orenduff, Josh Sborz, Steve Schmoll and Jordan Tarsovich.
He played ball under Timm at Iowa state until his graduation in 1962.
