Biographical Information[edit]
Also a writer, Denny Hocking has written articles for MLB.com, including one about the September 11 tragedy.
Hocking coached for the 2010 Frederick Keys and the 2011-2012 Bowie BaySox. He then managed the AZL Angels in 2013 and Inland Empire 66ers in 2014. He was then a coach for the Tacoma Rainiers in 2017, then returned to managing with the Clinton LumberKings in 2018. He was scheduled to be manager of the Modesto Nuts in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19.
