Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Doug Drabek was signed as a 11th round pick in the 1983 amateur draft by the Chicago White Sox and scout Terry Logan.
Drabek was the pitching coach for the Yakima Bears in 2010, Visalia Rawhide in 2011-2012, Hillsboro Hops in 2013-2015, Mobile BayBears in 2016, and Jackson Generals in 2017-2019. He was scheduled to return to Jackson in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19. Drabek was pitching coach for the Amarillo Sod Poodles in 2021 and Reno Aces in 2022.
He is the father of Kyle Drabek.
