Gold Glover Doug Flynn's father, Doug Flynn Sr., played in the Brooklyn Dodgers chain in 1948.
Flynn announced minor league games for CBS in 2014. He has done some work for Fox Sports Ohio and the SEC Network.

- NL Gold Glove Winner (1980)
- Won two World Series with the Cincinnati Reds (1975 & 1976; he played in neither World Series).
