Eastern Park was the home of Brooklyn's National League team, known as the Brooklyn Bridegrooms or Brooklyn Grooms, (the ancestors of the Brooklyn Dodgers) from 1891 to 1897. It was previously home to the Brooklyn Ward's Wonders of the Players League in 1890.
