Jakarta was the capital of Indonesia (the capital was moved in 2022 due to the overcrowding of Jakarta causing its sinkage) and one of the world's largest cities. Roy van den Dungen Gronovius was born here. Imago School of Modern Advertising, Indonesia Banking School, Pancasila University, Perbanas Institute, Sekolah Menengah Atas Kolese Gonzaga, SMA Pangudi Luhur, STIE Bhakti Pembangunan, Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia, Universitas Bina Nusantara and Universitas Trisakti are here.
Jakarta hosted the 2018 Asian Games.
