Biographical Information[edit]

After his playing career, Jay Loviglio became a minor league manager. First he worked his way up the Chicago Cubs chain from 1986 to 1991. He managed the Augusta Greenjackets (Pittsburgh Pirates) in 1996 and coached the New Haven Ravens in 1997. Next he managed for the Colorado Rockies from 1998 to 2000 and the Pirates again in 2004. he was a coach for the Altoona Curve in 2002, Nashville Sounds in 2003, and Long Island Ducks in 2011-2012.
