biographical Information[edit]
Katsuki Akagawa is a pitcher. He was a national All-Star in high school, then was picked in the first round by the Yakult Swallows. He debuted in 2009, making one appearance on September 9. He allowed a walk, three hits (including a homer) and three runs while throwing two wild pitches and retiring none. He also pitched one game in 2010, giving up four runs, seven hits and three walks in 5 1/3 IP. He then joined the Japanese national team for the 2010 Intercontinental Cup.
