Biographical Information

Kazuaki Minami won 32 games in college. The Yomiuri Giants took him in the 8th round in 2003. He pitched for Yomiuri in 2004, posting a 9.00 ERA in two innings. Spending the rest of his Giants career in ni-gun, he was released at the end of 2006. He played for the Northern League's Calgary Vipers in 2007, going 10-5 with a 5.52 ERA in 24 games (17 starts). Since then, he has played in the Baseball Challenge League, leading that independent circuit twice in wins.
