Kisaku Kato was a middle infielder and manager in the Japanese Professional Baseball League. Kato hit .219/.275/.234 in 19 games for Nankai in 1940. He was the last of three Nankai managers in 1942, going 10-17. He was also 1 for 9 at the plate for them. He hit .178/.260/.203 the next season and again took the managerial reigns mid-year, replacing Katsuo Takada and going 9-26-1 the rest of the way. He batted .244/.271/.244 for Kinki Nihon in 1944 (11-23-1) before the season was cut short due to World War II.
