Biographical Information[edit]
Kiyoshi Oshikawa was a second baseman and outfielder in college. He was in the Japanese military after college. In 1920, he helped found the first Japanese professional team, Nihon Undo Kyokai, but the team folded the next year following a major earthquake. He later was an executive with the Korakuen Eagles. In 1959, he was an inaugural member of the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame.
