Biographical Information[edit]
Lew Freedman is a prolific author who has written over 75 books about sports and Alaska. He also worked for the Anchorage Daily News, Columbus Republic, Chicago Tribune and Philadelphia Inquirer.
Some of his baseball works include A Summer to Remember: Bill Veeck, Lou Boudreau, Bob Feller, and the 1948 Cleveland Indians, White Sox Essential: Everything You Need to Know to Be a Real Fan!, The 50 Greatest Players in Boston Red Sox History, Hard-Luck Harvey Haddix and the Greatest Game Ever Lost and For the Love of the Chicago Cubs.
