Lou Vedder pitched two innings of flawless baseball for the Detroit Tigers on September 18, 1920. He gave up no hits, no walks, and no runs, while striking out one and getting two assists. In 1921 he pitched briefly for the Muskegon Muskies of the Central League, being released May 17 after appearing in two games.
He is apparently the same Lou Vedder who played professional football in 1927.
He attended Michigan Agricultural College.
