Maurizio De Sanctis was a star Italian pitcher of the 1980s-1990s who pitched in the 1991 Intercontinental Cup, 1991 European Championship, 1992 Olympics and 1993 European Championship. Unfortunately, the historical baseball stats portion of the Italian Baseball and Softball Confederation site has been down for over a year (as of 11-11-2020) so this entry is temporarily incomplete.
