Mike Tamburro
Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Tamburro was General Manager of the Pawtucket Red Sox from 1977-1984 then became their President. He was named International League Executive of the Year in 1984, 1988, 2001, 2004 and 2008, the first five-time winner. He has been a Director of the IL and has been part of the Minor League Baseball Board of Trustees (1992-1997, 2001- ). He was voted into the International League Hall of Fame in 2012, alongside pitcher Dave Eiland and manager Bill Evers.
