Munehide Tanabe (田辺 宗英)

Biographical Information[edit]
Munehide Tanabe helped organize the Korakuen Eagles in 1937 and later was president of Korakuen Stadium. He promoted baseball and boxing, serving as commissioner for Japanese boxing. He was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1968 in a class which included his brother Ichizo Kobayashi.
