Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Néstor Ramírez played for the Dominican national team in the 1969 Amateur World Series, 1970 Central American and Caribbean Games (.400 for the Silver Medalists), 1970 Amateur World Series (10th with a .361 average, leading the Dominicans), 1971 Pan American Games, 1972 Amateur World Series and 1973 Amateur World Series. In 2010, he was inducted into the Dominican Sports Hall of Fame.
