Biographical Information

Nate Spears was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 5th round of the 2003 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Nick Presto and made his pro debut that summer.

Spears became an assistant coach with the Greenville Drive in 2016. He moved to hitting coach of the Lowell Spinners in 2017-2019. Spears was slated for a return to Lowell before the COVID-19 pandemic led to the cancellation of the 2020 season. Spears was coach of Greenville again in 2021-2022.
