Noelvis Entenza is a right-handed starting pitcher for the Elefantes de Cienfuegos of the Cuban National Series. Entenza's fastball has been clocked as high as 97 miles per hour. <fact>

Entenza saw limited action over his first four seasons in Cuba, logging a total of just 94 1/3 IP. Over those four seasons, Entenza went 1-11 with a 6.96 ERA, walking 128 batters.

In his fifth campaign, 2008-2009, the Cienfuegos hurler finally saw regular action and went 7-6 with a 4.27 ERA. He tied Wilber Perez for 7th in the Serie Nacional with 89 strikeouts, tied Ubisney Bermudez for 3rd with 64 walks and tied Aroldis Chapman for first with 14 wild pitches.

Entenza was a member of Cuba's roster for the 2009 World Port Tournament. He went 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA in the event, taking Cuba's only loss and having their staff's highest ERA.

Entenza was 5-7 with a 4.81 ERA in 2009-2010. He was 5th in the league with 96 strikeouts but again battled control problems, leading in walks (66) and wild pitches (17).
