Biographical Information[edit]
Phil Gagliano was a high school teammate of Tim McCarver at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, TN, then played with him for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1963 to 1970. His brother Ralph Gagliano played briefly in the majors, his brother Paul Gagliano played in Italy and his uncle Tony Gagliano played in the minors.
Notable Achievements[edit]
- Won two World Series with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1964 and 1967 (he did not play in the 1964 World Series)
