Biographical Information[edit]
A hard-throwing righthander, Ray Krawczyk never got established in the major leagues despite good numbers in the minors. He led the AAA Pacific Coast League in saves with 20 in 1985 and was an All-Star that year. His strikeout pitch was the forkball. He later scouted for the Baltimore Orioles and San Francisco Giants, signing Hayden Penn, Nick Noonan, Brett Pill and Dan Runzler.
