Rockford Forest Citys

Officially known as: Forest City Club
See also 1871 Rockford Forest Citys, the team played only one year professionally, but was an amateur team beginning in 1865. Rockford was a hotbed of baseball activity with several amateur clubs.
The amateur club included such luminaries as Bob Addy, Ross Barnes, Cap Anson and Al Spalding.
