Biographical Information[edit]
Russ Ennis served in France and Germany for the U.S. Army during both World War I and World War II (BN).
He caught one game for the Washington Senators on September 19, 1926. It was the game in which Ty Cobb recorded his last major league hit. One source says he also played for Raleigh, Norfolk, and Richmond.
He ran a tavern after his baseball days.
