The Spain national baseball team is a national team of Spain and is controlled by the Real Federación Española de Béisbol y Softbol. It represents the nation in senior-level men's international competition. The team is a member of the CEB.
Spain beat Puerto Rico in a game in the 1992 Olympics and won the 1955 European Championship. They qualified for the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Spain has been criticized in the 21st Century for relying almost exclusively on Venezuelan, Cuban, American and Dominican players rather than the native Spaniards who comprised their '92 Olympic squad.
