Biographical Information[edit]

Tommy Morrison played for the Guam national team in three decades.

He was with them when they won Gold in the 1999 South Pacific Games. [1] He pitched for them when they won the 1999 Oceania Championship. [2] He threw four shutout innings when Guam won the 2003 South Pacific Games (2 H, 2 BB, 5 K). [3] In the 2003 Oceania Championship, he took a loss and allowed four hits, three walks and five runs (four earned) in two inning as Guam fell to Australia; only Paul Pangelinan had a higher ERA in the event. In the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games, he won Gold. [5] The veteran saved John Pangelinan's win over New Caledonia to open the 2011 Pacific Games and then got the win over the champion Northern Mariana Islands (Anthony Yatar Jr. got the save). Guam won Silver and Morrison had a 5.14 ERA. He was the only hurler to get a win and a save in the event. [6]

He later was a Republican State Senator in the Guam Legislature. [7]
