I know this is off the subject of baseball, but Metal Health was my first tape (yes tape in 1982 or 1983) ever. I still have it. I was hooked on rock/metal from that point on. --Jeff 10:24, 12 March 2008 (EDT)

The #5 single off that album, Cum on Feel the Noise is what got me into the genre, as well. It's a classic, that's for sure. (HairMetalLives 16:34, 12 March 2008 (EDT))

Thank you! I shall get on that. (HairMetalLives 01:45, 10 April 2011 (EDT))

Nice work getting birthdates from SS records. --Jeff 23:54, 28 June 2011 (EDT)

Thanks. (HairMetalLives 20:11, 3 July 2011 (EDT))

Thanks for the help. We put a decent dent into the list of Cuban defectors who had no page.

By the way, the two different pages for Mayque Quintero at B-R Minors are for the same guy. The info. on the page without stats is good, except he was born in Cuba and not Miami. Not sure how to do it, but everything else can be merged and the split can be undone. Thanks again.

Also, I noticed new pages created more than 24 hours ago still aren't appearing on their respective category pages. Did I do something wrong or do the categories not update on a real-time basis? Thanks.

-- Are you sure? I just checked the category pages again, and I'm not seeing the pages I've created. E.g., the Cuban National Series category has Yander Guevara but not Yamel Guevara.

-- Wow, that's odd. I must be getting cached pages or something. I just reloaded the Cuban National Series category page and none of the pages I've created appear on the list. Very strange.

-- I just noticed that if I go to a multi-page list and then click on the "Next 100" or "Next 200" link, that seems to force a refresh and the pages I created appear on page two and then on page one when I click to go back. But if I go to a single-page list, I'm getting an old, cached version of the page, and not even refreshing the page seems to get the updated version. I wonder if B-R uses some sort of load-reducing system and this is a glitch.

I've sent you an e-mail at an address I guessed from your twitter account and web site. If you don't receive it, my email address is on my user page. Send me a message with your correct address (I'm neither on twitter nor facebook). --Philippe (talk) 13:00, 5 August 2013 (EDT)

We try to leave the Today in Baseball around 5 items for consistency. With some dates, that's just hard, but if adding a really notable recent event, try removing an older, less notable event. - --Mischa (talk) 16:22, 29 October 2015 (EDT)

Sure. I saw some dates with six items, so I figured that was okay. I'll go back and fix what I had worked on. I had something in mind with a date with six items, but I did not add a seventh; I figured that would be too much. (16:31, 29 October 2015 (EDT)~)

User Name[edit]

Is there any way to change my user name? Or would I have to create a new account? (HairMetalLives (talk) 01:53, 14 July 2016 (EDT))

I don't know of a way to change the name; sorry. - --Mischa (talk) 09:54, 14 July 2016 (EDT)

Okay. Thank you. (HairMetalLives (talk) 15:18, 15 July 2016 (EDT))
