Biographical Information[edit]
William Lapham played in the minor leagues from 1877 to 1879. He hit .197 for the Guelph Maple Leafs the first year, played for the Lynn Live Oaks/Worcester in 1878 and for the Dubuque Red Stockings in 1879. He managed the Dubuque Giants for the latter part of the 1890 season, replacing William McCaull.
